Marco Altenhöfer

Marco has been working in the GMH Group since 2013 in various management positions in sales and can now look back on more than 20 years of experience in the steel business. Currently as Sales Director Peeled Bars & CNC, he and his teams are responsible for various steel products in the GMH Group at 3 locations (DE+AT). Since the beginning of 2023, Marco Altenhöfer has also been Commercial Director of GMH UK in Chesterfield. His customers come from the automotive industry as well as mechanical and plant engineering.

Two key aspects of his previous management position are worth emphasising. For him, open and honest communication with his employees is the foundation for trust and commitment. Furthermore, acquiring new customers is essential for any company.

He derives his personal success from his teams winning projects or being able to develop personally with him at their side.
